The Kontron FS-5975 is a 1/2–short ATR forced-air conduction cooled chassis designed for use in rugged applications. Specifically, the FS-5975 chassis meets the environmental requirements of MIL-E-5400 for Class 1 equipment and will withstand extremes of temperature, vibration, shock, salt spray, sand and chemical exposure while maintaining a sealed environment.
