Kontron’s TRACe-NET xM8P2G-1 is an EN50155 fully managed Layer 2 industrial Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switch with 8 10/100 megabit (Mb) PoE ports and 2 gigabit (Gb) uplink ports. Using industrial-grade components along with an optimized thermal solution, the TRACe-NET Switch is designed and tested specifically for the rigors of the transportation industry. A key element of transportation system network infrastructure, TRACe-NET enables streamlined connectivity with peripherals such as IP cameras, passenger information displays, IP intercoms and Wi-Fi access points (AP) that are managed and controlled by TRACe computers.
